Hello,
I had Compuserve 6.0 on my computer and if I came across a video file that interested me, whether it was tickle related here, a music video there, or a movie preview I could Left Click, do "Save As" from a simple & basic pull down menu and have the file where I wanted it. In fact, I could download up to 3 videos at the same time that way.
Well, I recently got 7.0 on my computer and now when I Left Click on a video file I get this much longer pulldown window with MANY different options, none of which I ever needed up to this point - yet the simple "Save AS" command isn't there. The closest thing I see are "Save Page As" , or "Save Target Page As" but I don't think that's what I want. I can click on the video file and download it like a streaming video, but I can only do this one at a time and I have no control over where it goes; either it acts like actual streaming video & I have to directly link it to a web site and can't store it on my C Drive, OR it just dissapears mysteriously into the guts of my computer so when I take it in for repairs the FBI will arrest me and that is no way to build customer loyalty. Stupid Compuserve. Can anyone help me with this problem, guide me through downloading multiple video files at a time, and storing them (doing the old Save As thing with this new 7.0)????
And I don't like how they've upgraded the Mail Center, either!
