Yeah, you need a video converter program. I use a program called "CinemaForge", it's pretty good and free (shareware). Here's a link into that program, click here !.

I'm sorry, i'm not really clear with your request, do you need to convert from mp4 into another format ?, or from a given format into mp4 ?.
