The hollywood brother wants to know why is it that the american congress can spend millions to go after professional sports but will not spend a dime or a minute to go after ticketing agencies that mess with the american public on a daily basis? I am referring to companies like ticketmaster or comcast tix as examples. When you buy a ticket to a local concert from these vendors, there is many extra charges that are forced upon you. Recently the hollywood brother paid more in charges than he did for a ticket to a headline main event artist. The hollywood brother got a kick out of a charge to have tickets either mailed or held at will call. Then there is a order fee and a convience charge.

All the legendary hollywood brother knows is that someone is making a ton of money off of all of us and no one seems to care. Millions of people like the hollywood brother work hard for every penny or frank that they can earn. When someone shakes them down for all these fees just so they can see there favorite artist perform live, it seems to the hollywood brother that this is not kosher.

The hollywood brother is wondering what all the millions and millions of hollywood brother fans feel about this topic and if there is anything to be done about it.

That is a pet peeve of mine as well. Once again, the American people are being screwed by out of control, unregulated, predatory corporate entities.......and choosing to do nothing about it. Seems like the last 8 years Americans love to see themselves getting screwed in one way or another.

the hollywood brother will not blame this on Bush as this been going on for many years. it is just absurd that no one in washington is even looking into this. If we look into other all american things like football and baseball, then why not look inot the evil empire known as ticketmaster?

Maybe nobody made a fuss about it yet so they don't know or maybe they like the tax money they get from and they didn't make any tax money from the extra fees in Football;who knows try complaining to the Government about it.
