ok its almost time for sunday football. Almost time to watch the jets win their first game against the cowboys(please if there is a god)Jets are having a terrible seaon but i wouldnt go blaming it all on Vinnie Testerverde. Well im going to order a pizza. Hopefuflly when i make my next post upon this thread, the jets will have their win.

I think the Jets' problems go way beyond Vinnie. They're pretty banged up on D as well. They don't have a real deep threat until Santana Moss develops, that's why they rely so heavily on a West-Coast style offense. Vinnie isn't a West-Coast kinda QB. So, it's not just the one guy that factos in, it's the whole system.
It really hurt to see Gang Green go down to the hated Cowboys, but Parcells might have a little more there than he's letting on. To be fair, I'd need to see them beat the likes of Indy, KC, Seattle or Minnesota before I go handing them the Lombardi trophy. Let's face it, Atlanta's only win came over Dallas. They do have a good passing game going, I'll give 'em that.

Vinnie Ain't The Problem...
And the Jets don't run a true West Coast Offense. They never did.... In fact they rarely operate from a West Coast. You don't go from Vinnie Deep Ball to West coast in two years, ESPECIALLY since Pennington isn't a West Coast QB.
I've always liked Vinnie, the guy still has a first class arm and I swear he'll be able to throw 80 yards from his death bed. I know his first game back he didn't waste anytime chunking the Deep one (and into double coverage his other favorite thing to do).
You don't throw for the yards and TDs he's thrown for in the NFL if you don't have the skills. Unfortunately years of getting beatings in the NFL have taken their toll.
