Our favorite fetish forum has become so robust and active that it has required a fat new server to contain and handle all of the TMF awesome sauce that is all of us. Thank you to TMF JEFF, Myriads, and the TMF staff for all that you do!

As is always the case in these situations, all the praise goes to HDS, who contributed a ton of the ZERO time that he has free to do this for us. He's the real behind-the-scenes hero of this forum, the entire reason we run so smoothly and have so few problems.

I made the choice long ago that one can have avatars or signatures on a forum. Having both creates a level of visual clutter that I find pretty bad to look at. So I asked folks at the time what would they prefer, the avatar option, or an open sized signature space.

People wanted the freedom of the signature space and got it.

I'm more then willing reconsidering killing signatures and only allowing avatars. Show me that the membership supports it.

On the subject of signatures, and Myriads post. about his considering discontinuing them.

Respectfully, Myriads, I disagree with that point of view. To me, signatures seem a part of who people are. Their "identity" on the forum, so to speak. I love my Ladderlad signature. I've had it since Mimi graciously took the time to make it for me, quite a few years ago.

I know that Jeff and you make the decisions about the content of the forum, Myriads, but I'm honestly hoping you don't decide to discontinue signatures.

As to the issue of Avatars vs Signatures, I would vote for avatars, since signatures can be manually added quite easily.
