Today, I came home to an instant message from someone from here, who I do not know, calling me a bitch.

People like that are the reason I no longer have my screen name available...

For those of you who wonder why women (or men) don't answer your e-mails, posts, private messages, etc, it's tools like the one who wrote me today that ruin it for the rest of you.

Also, remember that just because someone may post every once in a while on the forums, it doesn't mean that they sit patiently by their computer, wasting their life away, waiting for your IM...

Seriously people...don't be rude...there is no need...and it just makes you into a tool...

Moral of the story: DON'T BE A TOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the internet. People are brave smartasses here because they're anonymous, know they can get away with it, and theres nothing we can do about it.

Rather than calling attention to it, its better to just avoid it when you can. Getting flustered doesn't help. If you're not used to be people treating you this way, then my suggestion is to pretend that you are anyway, that way your indifference defuses the situation and you're not quick to anger. By simply not giving a $hit, such comments are easily deflected and your time, better served.

That's extremely disappointing to hear that some person would do such a thing to anyone here. I don't mean anything specific about this, since I do not know the culprit, but if particular culprit reads this post then consider the following: karma is a bitch and what goes around, comes around! Even though I also agree with Vlad and the anonymity of the internet, its still a cowardly act in my belief.

My sympathies go to you Camel and as a small update for your intent on getting hitched up here... our lovely Conservative party is attempting to get rid of the particular legislation that benefits you and your partner but have no fear: I have total confidence that the attempt will be quashed in our House of Commons. What it would mean is a marriage for you and a federal election for us, one of many to come! Do keep us posted on dates, when you figure them out. 🙂🙂🙂

It sucks when some people go and do idiotic shit like that. I don't know you personally, but I know that doing that to ANYONE (much less a complete stranger) just shows lack of any human intelligence or behavior.

I've never receive such messages, but I know people who have, and I know some of them have been turned off towards talking to people they don't know cuz of people like that. It sucks that such acts by a single idiot can make people really avoidant towards others who are simply offering a kind gesture.

this really pisses the hollywood brother off. the hollywood brotherp ties the fool that too stupid to realize how nice of a person that Camel26 is. Now the hollywood brother understand that some people just hate other people and some people do not get along. this fact is fine in of itself the hollywood brother thinks. However the hollywood brother thinks that when you go too far and piss someone else off than that is wrong. if you do not like some human then do not have any contact with them. the hollywood brother say it that simple

It was lame and I just ignored the person after that, but frankly, if they are so brazen to think that I will keep my mouth shut on here about it, they've got another thing coming. Anonymity is one thing...being a tool for no reason is quite another.

I didn't post this specifically for my own cause--I know that other members have dealt with the same stupidity, and frankly, it's old...

I appreciate everyone's love...you folks are the reason I keep coming back to this place...

p.s: No set date yet for the nuptuals, but we're thinking end of august 2008ish? And now that we can get some legal documentation in NJ, well, who knows what we can do?

if you need the cremony why not do it on the beach at wildwood new jersey. the hollywood brother thinks it might be a good fit for the two of you as wildwood is the doo wop capitol and the frist place rock around the clock was ever heard. also the white beaches, the boards, the ocean with the dolphins in it can be very romantic. the hollywood brother also think it good because since there are a fair amount of hotel rooms all your friends and family can come down, get some sun, stroll the boards, wathc you and your soul mate get hitched, and ride the great rides of wildwood new jersey!
