Goddamnit, I'm getting old.

I have 11 grey hairs as of today. Bollocks. Now it's someone elses turn.

My gray hair is not so obvious as long as i keep it cut short,but i have plenty of it.If i let my beard grow its more white then gray and has been for some years now.

okay, so i have a somewhat scientific mind and am a total nerd, but i suck at guessing the number of jelly beans in a huge pickle jar. however, that doesn't mean that we're all guesstimate challenged. for those who aren't, i checked a number of websites and the consensus seems to be that the average number of strands of hair varies by color as follows:

BLONDE - 140,000 strands;
BROWN - 110,000 strands;
BLACK - 108,000 strands;
RED - 90,000 strands.

okay, no blonde jokes... but the distribution is interesting. given this info, perhaps i can make a more educated guesstimate.

brown hair 110,000 strands, approximately 20% gray??? (like i said i suck at these guesses)

so approximately 22,000 gray hairs.
