Countdown to #1000

Greetings, my tickling bretheren and . . . er . . . sisteren.

As I'm closing in on 1000 posts, I've decided to make the countdown count. In the coming days I'm going to dig through my archives for pics and stories (and vid clips if I can figure out how to post them) that I haven't seen around for a while but think people might wanna see. Also, I'll be reposting all of my original stories.

None of this will be new material, but it's all pretty good material and I'm sure there are plenty of people who haven't seen much of it.

And for my 1000th post, I have something truly remarkable planned. Oh yes, something astounding, amazing, breathtaking, dare I say -- en fuego. Yup. My 1000th post will be so colossally mind-blowingly awe-inspiringly tremendous that it will change the world in which we live. Spirits will rise and cities will fall. Women will swoon and men will drop to their knees in tears. A bright light shall engulf the land, and a new day of peace and enlightenment shall dawn.

Either that, or it'll be a dumb joke. I haven't decided yet.

Guess we'll just have to wait and see! 😀

Sounds like a cool plan. What about posting the clips in your Yahoo group? If you're out of room, you can post them in mine. There's still room. I'll give you temp mod status so you can upload.

I was walking around all day as if on laughing gas due to your joke of 1000 posts. I'll bet that's the last time the good minister sends his wife around with the collection plate 😉 ! Thanx so much for accomodating me by spilling that joke. Geez, now I feel a bit badly for having forced your hand . I don't really have a 'stand-in' joke to give you to replace it. If I should make it to 1000 (posts not years), I think I shall retell the joke giving you full credit!

On to more serious matters- I'm not sure who's in charge of dispersing those coasters. The fact that none of the members with Red Plummage have received their complimentary gifts seems to be due to bureacratic error.
