According to one of the first episodes of '1000 Ways to Die' (Spike channel), a guy stoned out of his mind on peyote tried to mount a grizzly bear and ended up as bear chow. Some of those "true" stories are so far-fetched, it's easier to believe they're just made up for the series. But people do incredibly stupid things, especially when drunk or drugged, so maybe not.

Well the mistake the guy made was that he didn't get the raccoon drunk first. I always thought that was step one.
