Creative thought sharing

I recently got together with another member of TT and we discussed some art ideas, and story plots over Skype, which brought me to start writing a story which I never would have otherwise attempted. This got me thinking, anyone else think it would be a cool idea to set up a more accessible hangout for trading thoughts and ideas among artists and writers? I mean the goal here is not to direct attention away from the Theater, but I think it would better stimulate creativity and motivate people to contribute more if artists and writers (And even just someone with an idea) could easily get together over say, MSN, Skype or Yahoo Messenger and help each other thrive.

So kind of like a creativity forum? If you're feeling ambitious enough, why not throw together a free ZetaBoard site for it? Otherwise, if you'd like to keep it to instant messengers, maybe compile a list of those interested and try to set up an online conference date?

Though if I had a choice, I'd try out something grander, like an actual collaborative project of sorts. 🙂 Either way, I'd be interested!

one of the main reasons i chat online actually is to get ideas for art. yes, it's helpful for sure. i'm on yahoo if you ever feel the need to bounce ideas around
