I agree about the new de-agefied version of April. While I do like the series, that's one of the things I don't like. I guess I'm just used to the sexy adult versions of April. 🙂

She's under 21 years of age, doesn't wear a yellow jumpsuit (or even a blue one for that matter), has no rack, isn't sexy at all, isn't a redheaded reporter, hasn't been tied up or even hand gagged ONCE, and is a SHELLY (aka she's in love with a turtle [granted that turtle is Donatello but still the old April knew where she shouldn't tread]).

Bah, I don't care how old she is. She's one of two reasons why I can't enjoy the new turtle series (the second being the old-style Batmanish BAM/POW battle scene interjections). I won't lie; I enjoyed the 2000's series (especially how true it was to the original comic books) but this series is just downright not interesting to me. Maybe that's because it's aimed at a new generation of kids.

I actually enjoy the 2012 show a lot; it's exceeded a lot of my expectations, though I will agree on one thing, even though I like that show's April as a character, I still the '80s/comics version better.

I don't know, there's something about tits in a jumpsuit.
