Cristin Milioti - Year of the Carnivore (M/F)

Apologies if this is a repost but couldn't see it anywhere when doing a quick search of the forum. This is potentially either brilliant or nothing.

I came across a movie review for a small indie film called Year of the Carnivore which starred Cristin Miloti (from Fargo, How I met your mother etc.). The review says that part of the premise of the film is that the girl is too ticklish to be intimate with anyone. As I say, could be a goldmine or completely disappointing!

There isn't any genuine tickling in it from what I could tell. The thing about it is that she is never intentionally tickled in the film, it's always accidental as a result of her trying to have sex with someone. Honestly it's kind of weird, I think it happens 3 times in total where she's having a sexual encounter and she starts laughing because it tickles, which usually leads to the sex ending. I think she's a good actress but her laughter isn't convincing at all and it probably has a lot to do with the fact that she's obviously not being tickled. In addition to those 3 instances, at one point she demonstrates how ticklish she is by tickling herself and actually laughs but as you would expect that doesn't come across as remotely genuine. And the word 'tickle' is of course said several times throughout, she says 'I'm ticklish' a couple of times if I remember right. It's a shame really, the situations that are ticklish for her in the film aren't situations that are ticklish for people in real life but in a few of them she's in a position where someone could have been tickling her off-screen to make it seem realistic. Maybe Cristin's just not ticklish herself. Watch it though anyway if you're interested, I could be underselling the tickle scenes for all I know.

Great find, looks intriguing...when I was a kid, I used to fantasize that there would be a movie where tickling would become a plot point, lol.
