Hi, I was wondering, do the other ticklees think that being a ticklee associates you with being submissive? I don't really think it does, but lately it's been assumed!!!

I dont think it has to be associated with being submissive. But..as far as the d/s community goes and those into tickling and involved in the d/s lifestyle...the majority of the ticklees are submissive. Somehow, I just cant see a Dom being tickled. In my opinion, it is a submissive act..allowing yourself to become vulnerable like that. But outside of the d/s community..I would say it doesnt necessarily mean one is submissive. Ok..thats all 🙂

Well nobody should be talking down to you. I feel tickling is something fun.. its lighthearted... Why would one want to go and ruin it by talking down to you? Beats me!

That is the most inane thing I've ever heard.IMHO, and this may be jsut me, for those of us not completely immersed in the BDSM lifestyle( NOT that there is anything wrong with those who are) and who enjoy ticking for fun's sake( as I do also) being a ticklee is a wonderful thing, esp if you're a guy. A lot of guys,eben if they're ticklish, just want to be the ticklers, don't want to put themselves in the vulnerable position of being tickled; it may just be personal preference or have to do with masculinity. But those like you, who are jsut as willing to undergo the torture of the feather as to inflict it on others , are a rare breed , and much appreciated by us female tickle switches who LOVE to get revenge.>🙂.
So don't stress the killjoys.. just tell them pog ma thon (kiss my arse in Irish!) 😛 and keep right on being the wonderful ticklee that ya are!

I don't understand why other guys don't like it either. I am extremely ticklish and look forward to the day when I am at the mercy of a female tickler. The experience just seems like it would be exilherating, besides that, the motivation for revenge is that much sweeter. 😀

I don't think it's fair for anyone, man or woman, to be just a tickler. If your partner only wants to be tickled and doesn't care to tickle you, that's great and you should consider yourself lucky.

I would much rather be the ler all the time. But if a woman I have tickle-tortured for X amount of time wants to tie me up (you would HAVE to tie me up to get me to submit) and tickle me, who am I to say "no, sorry, I'll tickle you but you can't tickle me." Maybe yours truly is fortunate because I normally enjoy having been tickled (although it's agony when being tickled), and therefore submit to role reversals without a lot of grousing about doing it.

I guess the operative cliche here is, don't dish it out if you will not take it. I'm happy to know some women think ticklish guys are a lot of fun.

If you mean "Are ticklees usually submissive?", then no, ticklees are on average no more submissive than anybody else.
If you mean "Do many people automatically assume that ticklees are submissive?", then, sadly enough, yes. That's their problem though, so feel free to educate them or leave them to their ignorant ways 🙂

Being a ticklee obviously does not warrant people to talk down to you, but let me get this straight: You believe the person in question saw you as a submissive, because they tried to talk down to you after learning that you are a ticklee? In that case, my turn for some educating:
Do many people believe that submissives enjoy being talked down to? Yes.
Do most submissives actually enjoy being talked down to? Unless they are in a specific type of scene, no.

Being a submissive is in a catagory all by itself and is not directly related to being a ticklee.
While there may be some coralation in certain instances, generally there is no connection.

Hey switch. I'm a guy, and personally I would love to be restrained and tickled. Allowing someone to tie you up and tickle you is a submisive act, but it looks like a lot of fun and I don't believe that it makes a guy a sissie. Having the ability to submit is something that a lot of guys don't have, but that willingness can be helpful in some situations, and on the same token being able to take the lead is also good. But tickling is all about having fun, so whatevers fun for you and your partner is all that matters!
