Now this is something I can speak to. I joined this forum when it first began to primarily try to figure out what made my husband tick, how tickling (which I equated to that thing my cousins did to irritate me as a child) could BE a fetish, and why my hard drive was constantly locking up because of the pics he was downloading all of the time. I personally did not share the fetish nor understand, but like you, I wanted to because it seemed a simple thing to do to try to make my husband (and our marriage) happy.

But, from one who is also married to a man with both a foot and tickling fetish, I can say that we have a LOT of fun. I agree with justmyfeet, I think that is what was wrong with all the relationships that I have been in, in the past. I didn't openly talk about my fetish and I was disappointed when I found out after getting involved with the guy that he did not have any interest in tickling what so ever!!!!!! Sexual play, having me tied up yes, but not for tickling! 🙁 That was my mistake🙁
So I think it is great that you are willing to learn and want to try for your future husband! Good luck on the marriage too by the way.

All I can say is that your intended is very lucky that you are looking at this with an open mind. On the boards over the past 2 yrs (I think that's about the right time frame) I have seen many people talk about relationships ended, or never properly begun, because of this one thing that for some is just an important part of who they are. Entire threads dedicated to how to tell that special someone, when should they tell them, why were they rejected when they did tell them.. and relationships ending because for whatever reason they could never tell them, or were rejected because they did.

Just throwing in my peanuts of experience with your question as a few of my ex girlfriends had to be "awaken" to my fetish.

None of them were ever into anything "different" or kinky as they put it. They were vanilla-brand gals. 🙂

So all I could do is be completely honest and sincere about why and how I loved tickling, specifically feet. I once brought up feet first to an ex and she had the look of disgust. Once I explained that I wasn't going to ram her toes in my mouth, she felt much better. I loved tickling but feet was my favorite tickling spot.
I took it slow with all of them and really, I got the same response someone mentioned earlier... "oh so that was it? That was your big secret fetish?"
