Cable companies continue to dominate the $1.3 billion video-on-demand movie
rental market, but customers when asked are not pleased with video-on demand prices.
There is a lot of competition. Net Flicks, Redbox, Blockbuster etc.

Research has shown that customers have an issue with some who paying $100
for cable service and then having to pay another $4 or $5 for a movie rental.”

Many of these customers surveyed instead would rather purchase the movie and own it
as a part of their own DVD collection.
When asked what a good price should be for Video- on- demand… Survey says Free…
The Fat Cats will not give their customers that kind of a deal…
