Dailymotion Site

I've seen afew really good clips on the dailymotion site..good enough to want to download then into my files but i cannot seem to be able too...anyone know how to do that??

Keepvid will enable the download of Dailymotion files. On the page with the Dailymotion video you want make sure to copy the address listed in the "Permalink" box and paste that into the box on Keepvid. Hit "Download" and then look below for the link. Right-click and Save As/Save Target As/Save Link As and you should be saving a .flv file. You'll need an FLV player to view them, however.

tried that that....when i put he permalink addy in...it just comes up saying please try again.

well that didn't last long..i did 1 and it worked...i tried afew others and NOTHING DOING

It may be a timing issue. These sites may not work at certain times of day. Try again later, eh?

Yea...i'm Noticing Posts That Come Up When I Try To Download Saying That The Url Addy Is Incorrect...several Clips Have That Problem

You can use Mozilla Firefox as browser, and install the VideoDownloader plugin.
Open the clip you want to download.
Click on the VideoDownloader icon at the right bottom of your screen.
A new window comes up with the download link.
Right click on it and choose Save link as.

I tried it out for Dailymotion and it works for me.

For other site it may be necessary to change the name of the clip in clipname.flv
