Behold! My return to tickling art. Some of you may have noticed that I haven't done anything since August. I can't really say why, but for some reason my drive for drawing tickling artwork had gotten drained. Couldn't have picked a worse time, I know. However, my interest in doing this stuff was still there. So I found myself wanting to, but unable. And that just led to a whole mess of stress.

Suffice to say, I've recently gotten past that and gotten into drawing more fetishy stuff once more. Hope you guys enjoy what I've cooked up for us all this time. In this one I learn the hard way that there are some dark corners of the Earth best left unexplored.

True underground art! However Sammi came to find herself is such a setting, this spiky salamander must hardly believe his luck! He certainly knows a good thing when he sees it: a genuine slice of paradise in this dingy, slate-gray hellhole! The nightmare (from Sammi's viewpoint) aspect of this picture is strongly conveyed via low-angle orientation and the obvious wild thrashing of the participants (off-kilter slanting and in-your-face foreground elements nicely suggest violent movement, as well as providing for depth-of-field dynamism). Sammi's direct eye contact may be a ploy to engage viewer sympathy or a bridge for intensified vicarious pleasure; little matter which, as it's successful at both simultaneously! So don't expect anyone to rush right out to your rescue... we're having far too much fun! The rowdy reptile probably won't eat you anyway!

Hope to see another installment of Avo' Dromus soon. I made up a special folder for the series, and the existing pages are growing quite lonely without new company! The story has terrific potential: an intriguing mystery; plenty of personable characters to follow; and (of course) enjoyably inventive artwork, structured into a strong narrative. Comix (especially the serial kind) are in short supply on this site... we can't afford to lose a single one, and certainly not one with so much to offer!

I don't think I can outdo LBH's analysis, so I'll just keep it brief. You've improved considerably from the last artwork I've seen from you. The perspective is pretty good too. Good stuff.

Wow! Thank you all so very much for the warm welcome back to the tickling art scene. I dunno why my inspiration just took a big vacation like that, but I really do regret the absence of my art around here. I love making you guys happy with the stuff, so I'd like to catch up with it soon hopefully. As for Cult, it's still in the works, but it too suffered from my lack of drive. I plan to renew work on Chapter 2 (with hopefully all the improvements to my art), during the holiday season. However, I'm gonna have to put a temporary hold on obligations to get it done, so requests and commissions probably aren't a great idea until after the holidays.

Anyway, glad you guys have all enjoyed this newest picture, as well as the improvements I've made. I hope to have more art to share in the future. n_n
