Today was an unexpected and unforgettable surprise. I must write about it in the true stories section. But first I need two questions answered: I need to know if this situation is ironic, if not by definition at least close. If so, I plan to name the story Ticklish Irony or something. The second question: If it is not ironic (or if you have a better idea for a title), What should I name it?
Here is a sample of what happened/the story. I plan to fluff it up, but for now this should give you an idea.
A female coworker of mine and I have become friends. She is involved with someone but I am respectful of her relationship. However for awhile now, I have been wondering if she is ticklish. I haven't had the courage/disregard for her boyfriend to ask. However today I told myself at some point I would ask her the old, "Can I ask you a Personal question?" Charming off-kiltering smile to throw them off guard. Then with an wicked grin, "Are you ticklish?" Today was perfect because we were rather slow due to bad weather. But while I was waiting for the opportunity/working up the courage an unexpected and somewhat unprecedented thing happened. Someone had walked into our department to gossip; I went to tell them to get back to work. Then my friend whos ticklishness I was curious about came up behind me and poked my side. This is not uncommon of her to do, it didn't bother me but I twitched a bit. Then two more pokes hit my sides in different places! 😕I convulsed and gave a quick spasm. I gave off a giggle, followed by a yelp/squeak as a fourth poke hit my ribs.
My knees buckled and I almost hit the ground when she gasped at my extreme reaction! I regained my composure and look at her wide-eyed. 
The look on her face was one of pleasurable revelation! She had made a discovery that she liked very much. A plain and innocent smile crossed my face I defensibly lowered my head in a bashful way as I felt a jet of warm blood shoot up into my cheeks! I knew I was blushing which makes me blush worse. I calmly walked off and continued my work. 
As I did she gave off a titter that my professional self feared, but my personality thought was quite intriguing. Later she asked me if the giggle I gave out was real. My honesty disallows me to relinquish false information. So a resounding and emphatic 'Yes' was my reluctant and bashful response. Her response was a wide grin and Satisfied, "Good!" followed by an adorable giggle. This was gonna be a long an interesting day I thought. How right I was.
