Does anyone know how I can get rid of file locations listed in the pull down menu in the Open file button? 😕

Here's what I did:

-Open up the player

-Go to Tools-->Options

- Hit the "Privacy" tab when that window pops up

-At the bottom of that page that appears after hitting the tab, there should be a button that says "Clear History." Press it.

That's how I do it on mine. Let me know if that works.

🙂 Thanx for the reply Tickledorange. I tried it a couple of times and for some reason it won't apply the command. I have decided to download some Windows media player viewable files that I don't mind being seen by others and hope it bumps the other files off the list. 🙂

You could also try unchecking the box that says "Save file and URL history to the player"

It is already unchecked. Thanks anyway. 😀
