I am being tested for lithium to see if it
could help my depression. Also I have started a
new job and I will be moving in to a new apartment in
A few months. My parents think this will help my
depression. At this point nothing is working

I am so sorry that you have to go through this tickleteasing.🙁 It has to be the total pits. So sorry to hear this. I really hope the lithium helps you a great deal w your depression. Just try to keep the faith and try not to get too discouraged/try not to let your depression drag you down. I know it is very difficult and it is not easy-a major battle that feels like it can not be won at times so many times. Just remember you have good friends cheering you on and that are here for you-be there for you. I believe in you tickleteasing. I believe you can conquer and beat this depression-just keep striving and don't give up. I believe in you. I hope the lithium helps you. Maybe this new transition-you having your own place soon in a few months might help your depression- might be just what you need along with the medicines you are given-to give you something to look forward to. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. Sending hugs.

Hope things start to really look up for you and really hope that really soon things go great for you. Try to stay patient with yourself-wishing you soon a speedy recovery-get well soon. Stay good to yourself-don't work too hard. Thinking about you. Really miss you. Hugging you.

I dunno what's going on in your life, and we don't know each other but sending much love and hugs your way from the Mitten State. <3

You're definitely not alone. I suffer from bipolar and it's hard to deal with. About the time they find the right medication for you, your body gets used to it and they have to either increase the dosage or put you on something else and start all over again, waiting the next 6 to 8 weeks for it to kick in.

Good luck! I hope the change in medication ends up working for you.

I have Asperger's Syndrome--and depression can be a major factor when you're suffering from this type of syndrome. For the most part, I suffer from very high anxiety--and I have been taking Klonopan to help ease it. It does ease it somewhat--but, not fully. I wish you peace of mind 🙂 ~Victoria

Changing jobs and residences are stressful events. Granted, those kinds of changes can make marked improvements in your life. I'm just wondering if you haven't piled too much on your plate. Then again, I don't know all the details of your situation.

In any case, my best to you with your life changes. Don't be afraid to put one or both of them on hold for a short while, if need be. And beware of indifferent doctors who don't listen to you.

Depression is a bitch, as I've found out the hard way.

I was reading up on AS on Wikipedia, and they gave the address of this site which is supposedly geared toward aspies. Might be worth checking out:

In my experience, do your best not to just keep to yourself and be alone in your new living situation. It's SOOOO easy to become incredibly reclusive when the option is there. I know for me at least, when I do this, all I do is sit around and brood and my mind sabotage's me.
I hope you can find something that can bring you enjoyment and keep your mind from dwelling.

I second that! It's far too easy to find reasons/excuses not to go or stay out of the house!

Depression u

I cant imagine having to deal with anxiety and depression AND Crohns at the same time. You two both must be very strong I know that when Im stressed my Crohns related problems shoot through the roof...I can only imagine what anxiety can do

Good luck to you TT. Look at the smallest of good things each and every day. I've heard that helps. Always look up and move ever forward.

Good luck with everything. I really hope things are starting to really look up for you. And I hope you feel a lot better real soon. I really miss you-get well soon.:I hope to hear from you soon when you start to feel a lot better. Keeping you close in my thoughts and prayers. 🙁 Hugging you.
