Diablo II anyone?

Any diablo2 fans here?

If there are some, how about a PvP tournament, y'know, just us from the forum? Would be cool, I think.

Btw. I have a few chars:
lvl. 88 Hammerdin
lvl. 81 Zealot
lvl. 48(going up) Concentration/WW Barbarian
+ lots on very low lvls(<40)

So, anyone for a (not so)friendly round of diablo2?

I haven't played Diablo II in such A long time... but I play R.O.S.E. Online! Its an MMORPG, thats totally free... you might like it, its kinda Diablo-esque, but with kiddy graphics and stuff... hahaha. www.roseon.com

Oh, the translations are terribly funny in-game, because its Korean-to-English without putting in the correct format, so you get phrases that are completely backwards. And some words are spelled right next to each other, and differently, like "Toddy" and "Tody" not to mention my favorite spelling error ever, instead of having A Javelin, you can get A Javerin.

Ah, a fellow MMORPG-er. I'll try it, and I would recommend to you another free game: Conquer OnLine. Great Japanese(or Chinese) MMORPG. If you play it, play it on server Ruby, I'm there. Also diablo-like, but better inventory management.

I'm not sure if I'll be able to play Conquer OnLine, i'm leaving for Jobcorps pretty quick, and I don't want to get re-addicted to anything, but i'm stuck in R.O.S.E.

If you have X-Fire, i'll add you to my list, if not, you should download it, its A chat network for use in ANY game. Plus you can launch any game using it, its pretty cool.

Ah, yes. Diablo 2. I spent many a day and night playing that game. It was very entertaining and addictive.
Unfortunately, aside from becoming sick of playing it, the CD key rubbed off(which was printed on the case) of the lord of destruction CD package. So, even if I wanted to play it again, I would have to buy a whole new game.

Nah, you wouldn't. Just use the pirate-version CD-key. You won't be able to play it over battle-net, but then again, I only play it over TCP/IP. If you want, I can post it.

Ah, I've been meaning to pick that game up....perhaps I will sometime in the near future. Only problem is my character will SUCK for a while of course. But I'm definately a fellow MMORPGer. I've also been meaning to try World of Warcraft. I don't even think my computer can run that though.

Kunoke: Since there are 3 games we are talking about here, which one did you mean? If it's Conquer, there is a new server started a few days ago, and it's filled with low lvl chars. I have started a char there, and it's lvl 17. As for R.O.S.E., i can't play it, since the error messages are in Korean(including the Korean alphabet system), so I can't say what's wrong, and their user support didn't have any FAQs up to now.

I agree with you on R.O.S.E, some of my friends can read Korean though and they play it. As for Conquer...I didn't know that was free, and of course, if it's in english, I'm willing to give that a shot. So I'll let that download tonight as I sleep and get it up and running tomorrow sometime. I'll keep you posted I guess.

But yeah, I was talking about maybe getting Diablo II in the future sometime. Maybe. But I might get World of Warcraft first, I've heard its amazing, and I have a ton of friends to play with on it.

Yeah.....not to be a bummer, or bum. I heard world of war craft is pretty much like Diablo 2. It's for casual gamers. Me, personally. I've been taking evercrack 2. Mmmm....mmmmm...good. Ok so, I tried getting Conquer, but apparently it died in the middle of my download....so....yup. Know any alternative links to get it or something? I was downloading off the main site and it was only going about 10kbps, so I'd like to find a faster way if there is one.

Well, my suggestion is to try Download Express or GetRight(especially the latter, so you can enable multiple channels, speeding your download up significantly). You should be able to continue the download. Also, try downloading again: my friend got lucky and the download resumed from where it stopped.

Alright I'll try that out. In the meantime, I've been looking at screens and such, and it looks like a very decent game. Kind of reminds me of Ragnarok Online and MU online together.

So much trouble to get the game though! I hope its worth it. :weird:

Well, I must say that, when I first saw and played it, I called my friend and told him: "You've got to be kidding! This game must be a joke! I'M KILLING BLOODY PHEASANTS HERE!!!!"

But, now that I got to higher level, got some cool items, the game is truly addictive. But, it's effect begins after lvl 23 or so, so be patient. It's worth it.

And, now I'm killing monkeys.

Hmm, I never knew much about GMT. I think I'm GMT -8 or GMT +8, if there is one of those. So what time is it here when it is 7:00 there?

Freedom, eh? OK, but I play much more on ruby these days, since my strongest char is there. If you want, you can play there, and I will plvl you a bit, you'll be lvl 15 in about 15 mins, maybe even less.

As for the time zone check, try right-clicking on the clock in the bottom-right part of your screen. Then, select Adjust Date/Time, and click on the time zone. It will say GMT adjustment(for example, to me it's GMT +1, so in GMT time zone it's always 1 hour less than in my country, so basically, i'm playing from 6 p.m. in GMT). Since you're from USA, I think it's GMT-8, but i'm not so sure.

Yup, its GMT-8, so that means...well, 9:00 AM. Thats horrible timing for me, I'm off from 1:00 usually on weekdays at the latest, till around 3:30-4:00 in the afternoon, so you'd need to get on sometime around 12:30 PM to meet me. But this Saturday I'm good for 9:00 if you want.

EDIT: Well anyway, I'll start off by making a warrior on Ruby right now.
EDIT AGAIN: Hmm...it would seem the server is currently down...guess I'll try later.
EDIT LAST TIME 😉: I did make that warrior, and it's level 14 now, almost 15. Perhaps you dont need to plvl me so much anymore!
