There is a way for you to turn off avatars and signatures to speed your page loading times. This is particulary useful if you are using a slow dial-up connection. Cable/DSL users do not need to disable these options, unless you just want to.
Disabling Avatars/Signatures:
1. Click on the User CP link listed above.
2. Click on the Edit Options tab in the menu table links.
3. Scrolldown to Thread View Options to select whatever you do not want to display.
4. Click Submit Modifications button at the bottom to complete your changes.
There are other options you can do with your forum account inside the User CP, just explore around a bit. Notice you need to be a registered member of the forums to do any of these options.
