Dice Type

Hi All! I was just doing some online surfing (mainly just killing time) and had the idea to look up "Dice Type" but didn't find out a lot.

I was wondering if any of you that know dice could tell me how many types they are. I know about the D6 and D20 already.

Thinking about possibly becoming a dice collector.

P.S: I am posting this in the Gaming section as dice are mostly used in board\table top gaming.

The dice I'm aware of that I actually have (besides the ones you mentioned) are: D4, D8, D10, D12, and D100. Yes, there is a D100, which is often called a Zocchihedron, since the guy who first popularized them was Lou Zocchi.

Zocchi has apparently also produced the following: D3, D5, D14, D16, and D24.

A guy named Bernard Beruter produced a D7.
