This page was originally going by the title "Feet Fever" (you may understand why when you read it).
So, as you may also see from these forums, foot fetish is pretty common, at the least under tickle fans. I don't know if the forums here have so much foot fans because feet are ticklish so a tickle website attracts foot fans (you're likely to find feet here and see what you like even if you're not into tickling), or if it's just a common thing for people who like tickling that they like feet too... At least not everyone does (that is clear) but there may be a link.
Anyway, I've been trying to find some numbers but there aren't any good researches on this. Foot fetish is a fairly common fetish they say, even though it's not big enough to be called "something that men like" (such as legs, breasts, etc.). A rough estimation done was that about 3-5% of the population would have a foot fetish. The number may be bigger? But many people are not very open about it and as said, a good research hasn't been done (that I know of).
This comic tunes into the fact that foot fetish is quite common, but the comic does exaggerate this a lot and makes it look a little more common than I think it would be. But hey, perhaps our lovely girl is standing (unknowingly) in front of a museum with an exposition about footwear or foot art... that is bound to attract more attention to the location from people with a specific mindset.
Cutting a long story short... this is to be the former-last page for a little while. I'm going to send the girls on holiday and do something else in between. They'll be back after the next page... probably later this year.
