Do "Lees" Or "Lers" Favor Right Or Left Sides. . .Or Doesn't It Matter?

Most of us favor one side of our body or the other for many things. Does the apply to tickling ability or tickling reaction?

Do right-handed "lers" tickle better with their dominant hand?

Are left-handed "lees" more of less ticklish on their left foot or left underarm?

Post any experiences that confirm tickling being one-sided or that support the idea that information about your dominant side is irrelevant to tickling skill or reaction.

as a 'ler, I definately preffer to tickle with my right hand, as I am right handed. I feel it gives me more control over my movements, especially when it comes to gentle tickling, which requires more technique, I guess. Thus, when giving my favorite tickle foot massages, I always sit to the right of whoever I am playing with , and have them lay their legs across me. It just seems to work better that way.

Being a lee, I will pipe in here....


I am right-handed, but have found my life side to much signifigantly more ticklish then my right side. Solutions could be that a) my left side is not my strong or dominant side, and therefore more susceptable (sp?) to the tickling, or b) when engaged in play with my husband, he is always laying on my right side, and in turn my right side gets far more attention until heavier play kicks in...possibly resulting in 'deadening' that side, and leaving my left side more sensitive.

Boy, this post sure didn't come from a Yale graduate! LOL! Any of that make sense to anyone? Perhaps I should avoid posting with a headache in the future!
