Yes they do. I blame women.

But I take comfort in the phrase.

Yes, they do. Because they stopped on the way to help the cat out of the tree while the others kept racing. And the cat certainly won't care to offer them some great reward that somehow helps them win the race.
 
Aye indeed the nice guy does finish last.
However it is in losing many races in life that one sees the futility of trying to be first. That one must simply try one's best, upon that realization, it matters not which place one finishes. Then a nice guy may truly win.
 
Nice guys do not finish last.

We have irrefutable proof of it. On Mongo, a nice guy arrives in our Imperial Gas Chamber first.

All depends on the race. There are some people with whom being nice just won't work. And some things that require being nice.

the hollywood brother has to say a big old all american hollywood brother hell yes. it do seem like the jerks or the dillweeds get the most tickle action while the nice idiots that care about people and there feelings get left in the dust all the time. the funny thing is most women claim they want a nice guy who is in tune to there feelings but the reality is they want a rock and roll bad boy that treats them like hell. thbe hollywood brother has seen this play out numeorus times with numeorus people over the last ten to fifteen years

Nice guys finish first all the time, How do I know? Nice guys are the first to die while bad guys...they live a heck of a long time. Of course that only means they will live to see their own evil crumble before their eyes.

Perhaps the women who say they want this when they really want that are taught from infancy that they're supposed to want to only be with nice guys, even if they find being with those kinds of people boring, for whatever reason.
 
It depends on what finishing last means... if it means being the nicest person then no but if it means getting a relationship going then yes, I can attest to nice guys finishing last.

It sucks to be the "eternal platonic friend"... the person that everyone "just wants to be friends with" and those friends always state that you'll "find someone, I know it!" >_< *sigh*
 
Is it really that nice guys finish last or that people just have different finishing lines?

It seems to me that most "bad boys" have a stop-and-go kind of attitude. Stop with one girl for while and then go find another one... never really caring to stop.

While nice guys seem to go and search and finally find their finish line with one girl. Would you rather finish "last" or finish before you're supposed to and be with the wrong person?

Also I have noticed, being a girl and all, that most (not all) women tend to like a fast paced craziness with "bad boys" in their youth only to grow into needing a caring nice guy. :happy:
 
i say no. at first, women may want the bad guys, but they want the nice guys in the long run.

anyone who knows me, knows i'm a big gentle teddy bear, and i've met my wonderful girlfriend who loves me cause i'm nice and gentle. so ya, nice guys get the hot chicks in the end.

But like others have said, nice guys also end up getting hot chicks as well. They just don't get the impressive volumes of them!
 
Yes they do! If they don't then they will miss the "ring of fire" that gets visible only when they run a race with a companion at the same track. Much better if they only get themselves pwned in a blink of seconds. You see, they are just being nice to themselves as well. Imagine, after having the tangible and visible grasp of the essential fire element, as a consequence of being nice, the next days would surely be followed by dinners fit for a king. *burp*

that's not fair...not all women are like that! i'm not, anyway. i am now dating a very nice guy who is in tune with my feelings. it is true that some girls seem to pass over the good guys for some bad ass abuser, but you can't say all of us do that!

I'm kidding, not all women say that either. As for the topic at hand, nice guys finish last in high-school often, but in the real world, bad-asses often tend to fall flat on their bad asses, whether they admit to it or not. 😉
