Do We Want More Clips - I Do!!!!

As far as i can gather the archive site is down, so that even if i wanted to join the archives - WHICH I DO - i cannot join the archives as it is not active at my disposal.
Now also considering that the site has been a little quiet on the clips front - could any of the mods see it fit to release more clips of decent quality into the clips section - perhaps spme good couple of minuters that we all enjoy. Also my requests to buy videos have fallen on deaf ears - does no-one want my custom - i would be most appreciative if i could view clips of some good videos in the clips section before making a purchase - if it were not for the clips section on this site i would not now be adamantly demanding assistance in purchasing videos !!!!! If others agree with me that they would want to see more clips in the clips section from the closed archives - even just one or two and even of they are removed immediately - then add your support!!!
And if others bougfht videos as a result of the clips section on this site- please also let your views be known - as far as i can gather the archives holds hundreds of clips - so why not release one or two - until the archives are back up???
I think this would be a supreme gesture.......

Archives

The archives will not be put back up in the near future. As we have described elsewhere, the cost of having them up was far outstripping the money we were taking in for them. Don't hold your breath until they return.

As to us posting clips from the archives, if you can find a place for me to host the clips, then sure I'll pop out one or two. Got some webspace that will offer free hosting and not be annoyed at a sudden several gig bandwidth hit? Talk to me when you do. I can't host them on the forums server due to the very same fact that we had to close the archives, it would cost us too much.

Until then another community member has stepped up to offer you clips. Try http://www.extremetickling.com there are tons of clips there, the modest $6 fee seems a great deal!

the extreme tickling site to which you refer is very promising for me - yet whilst i would pay the fee of $6 (only £4 for god sake!!!!), i am afraid i would not know how to do this without a credit card!
and as for my suggestion about holding clips here - i am not suggesting that you do that - but what about hosting just a coupl to rejuvenate the stagnant clips section - i have clips i would like to post there - but do not know how to!

Let's try this again:

I have NO PLACE to host even a few clips for the video forum. NO PLACE means I have no web space to put the clips in. With no web space I can't post clips.

I CAN'T afford to place them on the TMF's server. Why?

Let's do a little math:

Average clip = 3 Meg (often more)
Average number of downloads in a week = 2000 (also often more)
2000 x 3 = 6000 Meg
A 'few' = 3
3 x 6000 = 18000 Meg (or more if the clips are bigger, or more people downloaded them)

At average bandwidth rates that adds up to a hundred dollars or more.

Got an extra hundred dollars a week to spend? I don't. That's why I can't post clips to the TMF's server.

I'd love to see the clips section active and full of new stuff, but the era of free web hosting is over. Now we have to make do with what is out there, and it's not much. It's costs money to play with big media files online these days.

As to joining extremetickling without a credit card, I'd suggest writing them an e-mail asking about alternate ways to join. I'm sure he'll accept other modes of payment.
