Excellent question. I do find it romantic (moreso than "sexual" per se) because it is a very intimate physical act with dominant/submissive connotations. It is a form of pleasure and power exchange, laden with psychological symbolism, which causes physiological reactions that can be interpreted as sexual to a greater or lesser degree depending on the circumstances and the relationship between the partners. Between intimate friends, it can be used to express love or attraction as well as friendly flirtation.

Well, that's like asking, "Do you find kissing romantic?" It can be, and then again, it doesn't have to be. It depends on the context. If it's the case where two people are sharing something special, something that gives them pleasure, then yes, it is very romantic. If one person forces it upon someone else, then it's abuse.

who you're tickling ... if you're tickling a relative : playful , if a girlfriend : romantic/sexual.

Absoutely! With the right situation of course. I find light and casual tickling to be VERY romantic! It's a great way to share contact between one another!
