Have you noticed any rise in shows talking about tickling, or actually showing some tickling?

I answered "Yes", but it's a tricky one, as there's just so much more access to info anymore, that it may just SEEM like there's more tickling material out there, y'know?

I voted not sure, because i really haven't seen more tickling recently. But i've seen more barefeet for sure (movies, tv, streets, etc.).

I vote no cause.....in public....weird.

Or maybe that's me....

AEEEEEYAHHH

We were in Wal-Mart earlier, and on the Valentine's Day crap aisle, they had some great tickling-oriented toys for the upcoming holiday.

One item was a set of plastic handcuffs with a feather attached! They were even called "Fuzzy Cuffs with Tickler".

Another item was a Valentine's Day Voodoo Doll, in red, with various playful phrases on it, like "Kiss me like you mean it", "Sweep me off my feet", "Slow dance with me to our song", "Love me", and right there in the middle of the torso? "Tickle me"!

So, yeah. Maybe it is more "mainstream" or whatever. Great! :super_hap

I said no. While tickling is always present as a background phenomenon, I don't think it is in any way mainstream to have as much interest in it as most (or all) of us do. I don't think I have seen a change in the degree to which being one of us is mainstream in my lifetime.

hmmm... it's a tough one. I suppose it's less underground thanks to the www but only if people are looking for it, ya know?

I voted not sure, because thanks to the internet, everything is much more known. But I don't think that we are getting any noticable treatment. This retains more to the American market than anywhere else.

Tickling appears to be more accepted in places like Europe and Japan. Wish America was more open minded like that. :super_hap

I voted no because although you have wonderful sites like this bringing people together, we were all into tickling anyway and i'm not if sure it has penetrated mainstream culture and popular art anymore since Yaqi or others started their sites. it is still looked down upon in Britain as a peculiar fetish, and not many people would even link it to sex. i'm not sure what attitudes are like in continental Europe and Japan, but i'm sure it has a miniscule following here, which is a great shame.
