does a certain shape of the foot make it more ticklish?

I have always wondered if there was more than just randomness to why someones feet would be ticklish. Is there a cirtaint? feature in the foot that makes it ticklish or is it at random?

for example: would someone with a high arch be more likely to be ticklish than someone with a lower arch? or someone with longer toes then shorter ones?

Could it all be genetic?

what do you guys think?

I do believe the number of nerve endings have more to do with it though...

Mile high Mikayla... has wonderfully massive feet...large heels, huge arches...vast soles...super long toes... and she might be just as ticklish as Cricket from tickling paradise with her very petite feet...

It all has to do with those good ole nerve endings... :super_hap



You could estimate that smaller feet could be more ticklish due to nerve endings being closer together...or if big feet have more nerve endings...i'm not entirely sure... just making wild guesses... :laughing:

an excellent point fmilling. i hadn't put nerves into the equation! thats the key component to it. my thoughts are that a smaller size is more prone to be ticklish than bigger ones. but HEY! im no doctor! haha :ayyy: or podologist

Your post seems to deal more with ticklishness varying through foot shape... mine just deal with the aspect of if a person has nice looking hands...do they have nice looking feet as well...

I guess you can say my post is a more foot fetish type question... :redface:

i have noticed your thread alot, by looking at one's hands i can kinda have an idea of what their feet will look like. i think its a superpower us FFs get

I think it all has to do with genetics, initially at least. Then the coarseness/thickness of the skin, and the tolerance the person has to touch. Some may find it truly more ticklish than others, but are just able to hold it in better than weaker ones.

Being that there are loads of nerve endings in the feet for most people, feet are ticklish. The more nerve endings there are, the more ticklish... and sensitive... the foot is. It's all in the density. The feet are sensitive in first place because of those loads of nerve endings (there are some nerve endings all the way from the neck and the head on the soles). So, it's practically pure anatomy/physiology: nerves react to outside influences. The more nerves, the more sensitive the place. In fact, all of our erogenous zones are erogenous just because of the nerves there. They are also the most sensitive for the same parts.
Example: our genitals host the most dense nerves, thus they are most sensitive, and mos t erogenous.
