Does anyone know the record?

I was just wondering of any of you onderful friends of mine here on the TMF happen t know what the world record is for the longest amount of time anyone has been tickled without any stoppage? Does The Guinness Book of World Records keep track of anything like this? Can we set the record if there isn't one aready? I was just wondering, thought it might be a good conversation piece.

Well, let's see. I've gone 3 1/2 hours, though that did include a quick bathroom break. Drew and I have done a couple of all-nighters, too. But those were more tickle fights than just one of us being tickled. I'm sure there has to be someone out there who's gone longer than that. A lot would depend on the degree of ticklishness or (as in my case) the ability to give yourself a respit by checking out for a minute or two.

I once did a 6 hour stretch on a bench but I know a certain young lady in Georgia who went for over 7 1/2 hours with only a short break at midnight for a sip of champagne one New Years at my house.

She actually went so long she wore out two perfectly good 'Lers'.

There is no such listing of a record in any listing.
I have gone 5 hours once and lots of 3 hour stints.

The inquiry however was raised, "Without Stoppage".
That, as I understand it, means absolutely NO breaks and the tickling is Literally NON stop for....?????

So, the record should be easy to set but I doubt the "G" Book of World Records" would want anything to do with it or it would have been there already.😕

maybe TMF needs its own Tickling World Book of Records, but with stipulations that there must be witnesses and that breaks and anything thats happens is recorded. Lets see what kind of records?

I have gone as long as 9 hours in one session, but that was with breaks for bathroom use, and breaks to get a drink now and then, to prevent dehydration. I think the longest I have ever gone without any stops or breaks what-so-ever, would probably be somewhere between 2 or 3 hours. Interesting thread! If a contest was ever held for such a record, I know at least TTD, Lite, and Njjen would be in the running, after what I have seen all 3 of them endure!

Guiness Book

The Guiness People allow breaks for going to the bathroom and such, but not sleep. So getting up and getting something to drink or go to the bathroom ever x hours would be compatible with their rules.

It also depends on the record broken. For example riding a rollercoaster has bathroom breaks and to get food/water.

That was one amazing night all righty. But then, when the Gang gathers to play, when has it ever NOT been? And clearly them boys ws just too proud to ask for help! In over their heads, they was! Hee! She'd have nevah nevah NEVAH made it even a metric hour if there'd been a Grizz in the room havin' at her, by gum! And of course, all these times hinge on lettin' your 'Lee up for water breaks, etc... actually going that long nonstop is unhealthy and unsafe.

My dear fellow, t'were all part of the plan! The plan being of course NOT to break her, but to keep her on the EDGE (tee hee) for 7 hours.... Mission accomplished! Then again, we are the team that knows how to keep QB restrained...and tickled.... and laughing.... AND conscious for over an hour too! Right Queen? ;- )

Yes Tero.... You guys are all very good at keeping the Queen on edge and awake. And I think I know why. You guys must just love to hear my squeaky voice when it starts to go. It seems the voice will only hold out for about a metric hour!

And I gotta agree with Danimal. Every gathering we've ever had has been amazing. It's always been such a family adventure because we've all become so close in so many ways.

So for our California Group the record has been 7 hours. And that did not include the time for the break.
