I've always liked his stuff. There's just something about his particular style that sits pretty well with me, which is unfortunate since he no longer posts on TK forums...to my knowledge. To the best of my recollection, and I might be wrong on this so don't quote me on any of it, I think him and vlad got in an arguement over something at the TMF and he ended up leaving...Over what I don't know, and there's a good chance I'm wrong about it, but well, that's what my brain says. If I'm wrong *and please, if I am, someone point it out*, I'll delete all that anecdote. 🙂
I'll answer this question, as I am the only person that can answer it in complete truth and honesty without leaving in any blanks or being partial to interpretation. I think this is the third time someone has brought this issue up, and every time I try and explain it exactly the same way.
That being said, there were several arguments that revolved around two issues. One is the second picture in the first post of this very thread. Thats a picture he copied from me. He had posted it on TMF claiming it was his, and he did this on purpose and to spite me for a previous argument we had on his yahoo group which was caused by him drawing and submitting a picture of a female Jesus being raped by an antichrist. Long story short, he freely admitted that he was a satanist and/or was practicing satanism and that the picture was an expression of that. He used "light satanism" to discribe it, as if there was anything light hearted about it as if to wonder why anyone should take offense. It was a pretty heavy matter, as you might imagine. I may have reported the file to yahoo, if I remember correctly, and they had it removed, since he was refusing to remove it at the time. Either that, or he removed it before they got to it.
I can only imagine it is because of that argument and the picture that he copied my picture. During these back and forth flames he continually denied that he had copied me, but I was smart enough to have dated my picture, and that pretty much ended it, but not until after he submitted a one page comic mocking me and the whole situation by portraying me as a fanatical priest screaming about being copied. This also was meant as a personal attack, as he chose to draw me as a priest, as opposed to a layperson, proving that he drew this picture out of spite and anger for the original situation revolving around the satanic themes he was going with.
Thats it. Nothing else to it.
It is well worth mentioning however that him and I are not enemies, I forgave him a long time ago (you need to remember this happened years ago when neither him nor I were as mature as I'm sure we are now), we have spoken several times after, and we are not on bad terms. There have been several people who have attempted to say this is not true, in an attempt to stir the pot or troll the situation, but its always in vain and is short lived.
As for me being the reason he doesn't post on these sites anymore, I doubt thats the reason, because I've spoken to him at least twice on this site and this was quite some time after the incidents and after he knew he had my forgiveness. So, it wouldn't make sense for him to just up and leave because of a single person. If it is true however, perhaps he was ashamed. Who knows, only he does, and it's not even worth asking.
As for what he's been up to, he's fairly active on DA and has done some work for MTJ in recent years. He seems to have developed a fetish for broken/breaking legs, casts, violence involving legs, crutches, handicaps, and possibly amputations. Other than these major additions, his art remains the same. Him and I were relatively new (him moreso than me) and were both at about the same skill level at the time when we joined TMF. There was a time when I would have wanted a friendly rivalry with him, provided he would have been a regular and could keep up with the pace. I figured he was a latebloomer, and that his talent would explode out of him like it did with me and how it has with some of the other artists here....but it just never did (still hasn't), so I quickly dismissed the idea and the years have gone by since.
