Does Anyone Watch The Thanksgiving Day Parade?

Are any forum members planning to watch the Thanksgiving Day Parade tomorrow?

Here in NYC of course, they have the Macy's one. In fact, certain streets in Manhattan are closed off due to the parade.

During Jim Gardner's 6pm news tonight, they were discussing the 6ABC Dunkin Donuts Thanksgiving Day Parade, which is supposedly the oldest parade in the country. I used to watch that when I lived in PA.

Tomorrow is supposed to be very windy and cold in the Northeast, after all the rain we had the last 24 hours.

I was gonna watch, but I read on CNN that they may have to cancel
the balloon floats due to the inclement weather.

They did a parade preview on the 11pm news from Philly tonight. WPVI reporter Dann Cuellar hopped in a little golf cart, and showed the floats, and previews of some of the acts rehearsing. It looks like it's going to be a great parade.

It is extremely windy in New York today, so windy, in fact, that there was talk of grounding the balloons in the Macy's parade.

Those who perform in the parade, or go outside to watch it, will hopefully bundle up. It is freezing outside!

Lost interest in it..when NBC decided to have most of their cameras set up outside Radio City..and the majority of their focus fell on all the Broadway show tunes and acts!! Not to mention some of the "fantastic" hosts and guests they dig up!!! It used to be mostly about the PARADE and the BALLOONS!! What is it, like 3 or 4 hours, and more than half of it seems to focus on the Broadway stuff (even more than half, maybe)?? Not putting down anything from Broadway..just the way the "PARADE" is covered, now!!! Why call it "The Macy's Thanksgiving Day PARADE", any more..if NBC keeps covering it, the way they do??!! So the last few years, I haven't even tuned in.
Now, I know I'm gonna get "beat up" about it ( since I'm on the west coast and have preference to the "Rose Parade")..but remember..I'm only putting down NBC's coverage..not the PARADE itself!!! I'm sure it's a fantastic site, to see it in person!!!

Because of the way NBC covers it..by stopping it for a show tune number (before or after every commercial break, it seems)..how long does it actually last??
