What a lovely lady, at the Glastonbury festival recently someone abandoned a dog.
On hearing this Dolly said "if its not claimed i will adopt it" this proves yet again what a kindhearted lady she is.

What an asshole to abandon any animal in the heat of summer... what a humanitarian she showed herself to be. Good for her - I've always enjoyed her musical performances and hearing this makes me like her even more.

Dolly is one of the best people. She ones bought the archive of her mentor when he was having money problems, and then gave it back to him as a birthday gift.

Dolly Parton was great at Glastonbury.

I hope Dolly would have been means-tested though, like anyone else wanting to adopt an abandoned animal. I bet half the Glastonbury attendees would have also volunteered to adopt the dog.

I wouldn't be so quick to assume the dog was abandoned through cruelty or neglect - although I do think it's a case of ridiculous, naive stupidity to think that such a massive festival (which doesn't even allow pets....) is a suitable place to take a dog - always a high chance it could go missing one way or another.

It seems the owners did report her as missing/stolen, but there was a language barrier which proved troublesome. They have since been re-united.

Glad to hear it was a happy ending no matter what. And yes, assumptions are dangerous things.

Yes, the women's heart is almost as big as her breasts. This of course means the women is 40% breasts, 30% heart, and 30% rest of her body.

I've never been to Glastonbury, but I get royally p***ed when I see people bringing dogs to crowded festivals especially in hot weather. You're having fun, but the dog doesn't know what's going on. He/she sees all these strange people hears all this noise, is very tense if not scared, is often hungry and thirsty and it wasn't their decision to attend the festival.
I'm all for taking Dogs outside on nice days, but do something the dog will enjoy. Take him/her for a walk, maybe on a wooded trail. Or take the dog to a dog park, maybe a nearby beach, if that's allowed and not too hot or crowded.
Don't take him to a loud crowded festival surrounded by drunk, drugged up kids

Probably more like 40% breasts, 30% heart, 20% rest of her body, and 10% makeup. But seriously she is an incredibly sweet, and beautiful person
