A quick rant over something I’m seeing more often: Memo to lees in tickle clips----one of the first things they teach screen actors in Hollywood is NEVER LOOK DIRECTLY AT THE CAMERA, as it destroys the illusion (unless you’re breaking “the wall,” etc., on purpose). Same with tickle clips. Look anywhere but straight at the camera, or else it breaks the magic/intensity/spirit of the clip. (It also, whether true or not, suggests you’re taking direction, which is the worst cold shower for any tickle clip).
