I gave up on chatrooms 7 years ago... about the same time I found them at 17 or so!
Just a virtual room full of "teenagers" asking teenagers for sex for the sake of sex and nothing else!
Or in simpler words, no hope of a decent topic related conversation (whatever the topic was!)

Worthless and bl***y dangerous far as I am concerned. Now! I wasn't then, but was better at "blocking" people then.

Agreed. Not to mention trying to keep a coherent conversation with people when everybody was talking at once.

My favorite little trick for nebies was to tell them to hit: "Alt-F4", and *whoomp* about a 3rd of the people (or more) would dissapear. >XD

well I mean, if you search the archives for MIRC

there were random user created chatrooms, I mean if the demand is so high why don't we pick an IRC server and just agree on a room?

I've never realyl used IRC myself, but I'm gonna look into it when I get the chance and set us something up. ^_^ .

blah im an irc fanatic i can set up a chat instantly (and dole out moderations accordingly) if people are that interested. :O
