Gobble, gobble, TMFers! A very happy Thanksgiving from your old friend Double T! Speaking of gobble, what do you plan to have (or have already had, since I waited until the actual dsy to post this) for your Thanksgiving dinner? I know turkey is traditional, but what if you don't like turkey, or have an unfavorable reaction to it? What would be your second choice to celebrate the day with? Around these parts, we go fairly traditional. We get our turkey (NOT a Butterball), and for the trimmings, My sister makes killer stuffing and gravy. I do not have the gravy, as it does nasty things to me. Mashed potatoes (None of us like sweet potatoes or candied yams). Turnips, which q-ball despises, but are enjoyed by my sister and I. Green bean and sweet corn combo. Again, I opt out of the corn part, same reason as the gravy. Black and green olives, and, of course, cranberry sauce. And not that fake, homemade stuff! I mean the REAL kind that slides out of the can!😉 And then, What about desert? Pumpkin pie? Mince? Pizza? (No, wait, that's not right!). I go for a slighly warm slice of deep dish apple pie, provided I have room left! So, the point of all this is, what are you "stuffing" into yourself this holiday season? And for how long after will you be dining on the leftovers??? Again, a happy Thanksgiving to all my friends and their families, from me and my family, and may God bless!
