Hi everyone!
I finally moved onto lesson number 2 of my drawing lessons, but it seems like I'm about to hit a rather annoying snag, but I'll get to that in a second.
The next lesson on the road to becoming a great artist involves learning how to use guidelines for heads and faces, learning how to draw heads, eyes, etc... And right now I'm learning about guidelines, but when I moved on a bit I hit that snag I mentioned earlier.
You see I don't just learn from the booklet I printed out, but also from a flash movie. I watch the section of the movie about what I'm learning and then do an exercise, well it turns out the flash video doesn't mention everything in the booklet. Not only that, but it seems like the booklet and flash videos are out of order. In the second part of lesson two I'm drawing heads, eyes and hair. Something we haven't even talked about. In the third lesson we learning about drawing eyes and then hair. It really doesn't make a lot of sense.
(I know I shouldn't question my flash movie teacher, but it seems a bit odd.)
The other problem I'm having is with the heads section of the booklet/flash video. They say I should draw an upside down egg, but it doesn't go into any details. It just says 'draw an upside down egg' and go from there.
So now this student has to venture off his path just to find a tutorial for heads. I need to find something that goes into a lot of details concerning them.
Well below is the picture I drew before I realized all this. I plan on practicing with guidelines until I find a good enough tutorial for heads. If anyone knows of any please let me know.
Thanks!

The head in the middle is my favorite. The head on the bottom. He wasn't supposed to look angry.
