Dream Bands

Further to various music related threads I've read on here recently (Favourite bands, music videos, etc) I thought I'd revive this old chestnut. It's been done before many times, although not on this site. Quite simple stuff - name your dream band, comprised of anyone be they dead or alive. Here's my 2 cents:


Jimi Hendrix - Guitar, Vocals
Geddy Lee (Rush) - Bass Guitar, Vocals
Danny Carey (Tool) - Drums, Percussion

Although I'd have to state that these would have to be the kind of vocals Geddy Lee was laying down in the 1970's, before he had to calm it down for reasons of remaining in possession of a voice.

I like a good 3 piece rock band, and I reckon this one would take some beating.

this is a tough call. i would love to see widwomaker featuring dee snider reform but itihnk my ultimate rock band that i would like to see is the orignal GNR lineup featuring slash, axl, gilby, and the rest of the crew. I was at the last gnr concert where axl no showed and caused a riot. even though it was not the gnr band it still would of been worth hearing axl sing welcome to the jungle, hair of the dog, mr. brownstone, used to love her, patience, you could be mine, dead flowers, sweet child, and many others

It would be.....Jeff as lead singer doing the Princess song and me playing clarinet in the background. 😉

(Although I admire Bloodhound Gang and Tenacious D....So let's combine them into one big band)
