I just recalled this recently. Back around '72-'74, I saw a movie in a theatre that had a great mainstream tickling scene in it. The star of the movie was Claudia Jennings, former Playmate who eventually earned the title "Queen Of The B's" because of B movies like this one.
The ticklish victim was an attractive brunette actress named Joan Prather, who later went on to appear in the TV series "Eight Is Enough." The movie was one of those cornball "who's killing everyone on the island?" kind of things. Joan's character is attracted to a guy named "Blue." (Isn't it amazing how much detail you can remember 30 years later when the subject is tickling?)
There comes a time for a romantic scene between the two. Blue starts to insinuate that maybe HE'S the whacko who is killing everyone, instructs Joan to lie down on her back, and straddles her. Then he says, "Now, little girl, you are going to get it" and starts viciously tickling her stomach and ribs. Joan laughs hysterically and the tickling lasts for quite a few seconds.
Does this sound familiar to anyone? I've never seen this scene noted on any mainstream list, but I'd love to know the name of the movie and if it's available on video. Perhaps an enterprising Claudia Jennings scholar can look into it and report back. 😎
