Okay, several comments and apologies. First, this is the first clip I've posted, and I used trial software to create the wmv, so there's an annoying banner in the middle. I fully intend to to fix that and repost (or edit this post), but I don't want to buy what I'm using if there's better software out there to encode in wmv. The quality just doesn't seem as good as it ought to be. What do others use for wmv creation? Free software would be nice, but I'm not opposed to paying a bit. I've got more mainstream stuff to post (some new to people, I hope), but it'll take a while to go through my old tapes.
Also, does anyone know of a site with video capturing tips? There's an annoying wavy line at the bottom of the clip; it was captured from a vcr. If this is covered elsewhere in a forum here, let me know and I won't bug people anymore.
