Okay, here is the scoop. This is a drawing I commissioned from an amazing artist featuring the characters from one of my favorite online comics.
The comic: El Goonish Shive
Don’t let the goofy name fool you, this is a totally amazing comic about transformations, genderswapping, anime style martial arts, aliens, alternate dimensions, and just about every other insane story idea you can come up with, all delivered with adorable artwork and brilliant characterization. The humor and characters alone are worth the read. (Warning, the art starts off a little shakey, but rapidly and drastically improves) So, if you would like to get to know these ticklish characters better, give it a shot at: http://www.egscomics.com/
The artist: Komori
No, she is not “one of us,” but she has done tickling artwork commissions in the past, which was the only reason I felt comfortable coming to her with this request. She is both an animator and artist, and has done some professional work for the Neopets website. Her art style lends itself well to cute tickling art, which is one of my favorite types. She has given me permission to post my commission here. She has done a few other tickling pictures, but as I didn’t pay for them, I’d rather not post them here. The commission: El Goonish Cuties Being Tickled
Several comic panels of some standard tickling poses and tools. Nothing entirely out of the ordinary, but my tickling art preferences occasionally lend themselves to the simplistic. While I do like complicated, involved, and dramatically different tickling images, and new and exciting poses and tickling tools can be fun, sometimes I prefer very basic, unadorned tickling pictures. Sometimes all I want to see is a ticklish bare foot tickled by a soft feather and the lees cute, laughing expression. I do hope you enjoy this commission as much as I have. It was worth every penny.
