Electric Toothbrushes: A Question

So, a retail place I was in earlier has some of the cheap, battery-operated toothbrushes on sale for only $11 a piece. Crest brand, if memory serves. So, there were only 6 or 7 sitting there. It looked like they operated on AAA or AA batteries, which actually sounds pretty convenient.

Anyway, I've always heard the electric/vibrating toothbrushes were deadly when applied to ticklish feet. I'm not expecting the same level of intensity as a Sonicare (sp?) brush, but I'd appreciate hearing from others as to whether (or not) I should invest in a couple of these marked-down cheapies. Thanks!

I've used these things you speak of before, and more importantly, had them used on me.

If they're the sole (HA!) item of this type one can afford, then go for it. The vibrations weren't anything to write home about, but it did its job well enough.

If you can, though, its honestly worth the money to invest in a high quality Sonicare or other top-of-the-line tool. So completely and utterly worth it.

Thanks for the thoughts. I'm still on the fence with this. I'll be by there later today. I suppose if they're still there, I might just go ahead and pick them up. My subs feet are already delightfully sensitive, and I love finger-tickling them, but it might be fun to totally restrain them and go to work with the brushes.

Generally most electric brushes work and I have used something like the type you are talking about to great effect but you are right the more expensive ones do the best job but if its what you can afford I would say its worth a go.

I appreciate the opinion, but not sure I completely agree. My wife and I started out years ago with two incredibly cheapo brushes from the local dollar stores. We've since invested in more expensive ones, but the inexpensive vibrating kind still slays both of us. I love to have my feet tickled, but our inexpensive brushes are the only things that can make me say a safe word (that includes fingernails).

Well, all seven were still there today. That may be part of the reason I balked again on the brushes. It's on my way to and from work, so I still have another shot at them tomorrow. I doubt I'll find a better deal on that sort of brush anytime soon.

Mine!

They were down to only four today, so I scooped two up. I was mistaken. They are actually Philips Sonicare Power Up make and model. Below is a picture of how mine look. Can't wait to give them a try on the sub's feet; though they might find mine sooner if the Domina visits tomorrow night!

Okay. I shut up now. :flatstare:

The philips brushes are what we use in my house. The kill both my feet and neck! And when they are used on my ears I just shut down completely into laughing tickle fits where I can't even think/talk/beg anything.

I don't know if I could stand to use an even more powerful brush!
