it might be Austin, or maybe even the Rock. but what if it is Goldberg? then again, who knows what is going to happen. should make an interesting Raw though.....

It would've been better if Austin actually showed up on Raw, this past Monday.
Definetly tune in to Smackdown, this Thursday, heard really good things and surprises about this episode!

I wasn't terribly impressed by the (insert sarcastic voice here) "bombshell" dropped by Sleazy-E on Raw. Oooooh, Austin's WELCOME to come back! Who would have ever IMAGINED that, with their ratings tanking like never before, the WWE would "welcome" the return of one of their BIGGEST STARS OF ALL TIME?!? Some bombshell. I was expecting Goldberg. Or at least the Rock... 🙄

Booker T had BETTER win that title soon, or I may flush Raw altogether...

Big Hype

It was not a bombshell. Just a big hype. It would have been a bombshell if Austin did show up. I thought it was just a big let down. Vince should have called Eric on the cell phone and fired him right then and there.
 
By offering something that he can't provide is the only way to leave an opening for Shane MacMahon to take over. It seemed pretty logical, story-wise, even though it's not nice to tease us like that.
 
but i think Austin will be returning. signs are pointing to his return. he may not show up when Bischoff wants him to, but he will come back. after watching the Raw 10th anniversary, i forgot how much Austin did on that show. damn he did a lot!!!

as for Smackdown, it should be real good from what i heard. tune in tonight!!!

"Smackdown" 's last 30 minutes had the return of Hulk Hogan,with half of those 15 minutes devoted to the never ending cheer of the extremely loud fans,and climaxed with Vince McMahon crashing the Hulkster's return,with Hulkster challenging Vince to a fight,and knocking him down upon the mat,setting up one of the main events at the upcoming "Wrestlemania"(which has been in the works for quite a few years now),with Austin expected to join in the fight(the Rock vs. Goldberg match should be announced sometime soon).
 
Hogan's like jock itch. Every time you think he's gone, he comes back again...

I'd be just as happy to never see Goldberg again, but I know he's showing up sooner or later.

big deal, he invited steve austin to interview with raw magazine, and to come back, but this time to raw. so what? a lot of hype, over speculation! as j.r. said, austin is out of town on a hunting trip, and won't even hear about the offer for several days, lol.

hopefully austin comes back soon,im getting tired of the same crappy guys week in and week out.looking forward to wrestlemania though...plus nash will be back by then.

Thanks for the info. Maybe it was a good thing I slept through Smackdown. A return from Hulk Hogan is nothing spectacular.

I don't quite cringe when I watch Hogan wrestle (not as bad as Scott Steiner f*cking up and falling down in that suplex, bomb, or whatever it was supposed to be.), but I have to agree. He kinda reminds me of the Terminator. You keep trying to kill the f*cker, and he keeps coming back, like an exoskeleton torso that won't die. As for Goldberg, I don't really think the WWE has any place for him. I mean, he's obviously not gonna win 300 something matches in a row, because that would just be lame, and personality wise, I don't see him amounting to much more than another Brock Lesnar. What the hell would they possibly do with him, have him come down to the ring wearing a yamaka, with Hava Nagila(SP?) as his entrance music (I have nothing against the Jewish community. I'm just saying I wouldn't put it past the writers to try and pull a stunt like that. If I remember correctly, they did it on the Man Show.)?

I'd like it if Austin came back, but I'll believe it when I see it. Until then, I won't get my hopes up. Also, even if he did come back, I gotta wonder how much he would improve the ratings. He may be the superstar of the decade, but who's to say the audience won't get bored with him quickly if he doesn't come up with anything new that they haven't already seen? What am I saying? If given back the spotlight, I'm sure he could definitely entertain. He seemed to be slacking when the Rock was the champion, though.
 
Thank God the WWE has Lesner. Right now hes the only good thing going....If only Angle wasnt injured ..*sigh*
 
I thought Smackdown this past Thursday was one of the better shows in awhile. It woulda been funnier if Angle lost his match and had to go back and confront Team Angle, that could've had lots of potential 😀
As for Hogan, I can appreciate what he's done in last 20 years. In fact I'm enjoying his "character" more now than when he first returned to the WWE last year.
Although I still don't like Hogan "the wrestler":zzzzz:
