I'm just curious about how the person you told responded. Did you find out that they were also turned on by tickling?

I told my ex girlfriend about my fetish. She didn't seem at all bothered by it. However she didn't want me to tie her up and tickle her either :cry

When I told my boyfriend about my tickle fetish, I was so embarrassed and afraid as to how he would react. But he just hugged me and told me it was totally fine and he wasn't weirded out at all. He does not have a tickle fetish himself, but he tickles me and has even let me tickle him too! 🙂

I just recently told my best friend about it too. Again, I was really embarrassed and afraid of how she would react. But she just smiled and was totally cool with it. She doesn't have a tickle fetish either. However, the fact that these people are cool with the tickling thing shows that it is nothing to be ashamed of, and not as weird as many of us think it is.

I once almost told my gf about my tickle fetish (but not my feet fetish).
She was round my house one time and we was chilling on my bed, she said sumin and as revenge i tickled her for about 5 mins, naturally i got 'excited' in noticable ways, and she did indeed notice. She then asked me if tickling turned me on... and i just froze and didnt look at her :S. She then said she knew a girl whos bf had a tickle fetish and so she was always tickling him. The tone in which she said all this made me think she wasnt at all phased by it. She then asked me again if i was turned on by tickling her.. but i bottled it, i said 'well ticklings .. fun i guess, but as for me getting a hard on, its coz ur my sexy gf and we are fooling around on my bed and.. im male haha' so yr i didnt have the guts to tell her.. but then it was only about 1 month into the relationship i think so i was too nervous. Who knows, maybe if i had told her the truth the relationship would have lasted longer or still be going... i will never know :/ lol

I'd be interested in hearing more responses on this topic. I've been dating my current girlfriend for almost 1.5 years and I haven't told her about my tickle fetish. The thing is, I don't even think she would take it badly, and it's something I really want to do.. but I just can't muster up the guts to do it.. :cry

Chaser, in your opinion could you be happy, I mean truely happy if you married a woman and you could never enjoy your tickling fetish openly? If your answer is "no, I wouldn't be truely happy" then you gotta tell her. It's not a big deal. Think of it this way. If you tell her today, tonight she could let you tie her up and tickle her. The only two things that would make me hesitate would be if you are still in school, OR you work at the same job.

i've actually told a number of my ex's.... believe it or not, most of them thought it was very weird. the first 2 just thought it was weird and it was never mentioned again. 🙁 lol. then the 3rd one was ok about it, but again, not much ever really done. i would tickle her from time to time, but nothing of any significant value (i.e 2-5 seconds)

However, the current girl i'm with.. we were being very open and honest.. i actually love this girl and seriously see a future with this girl. i weighed up me being honest and tellin her the truth, with the amount of satisfaction it could provide versus the possibility of destroying the relationship or losing her altogether. we were laying in bed one saturday morning and she asked me what my turn ons were... it took me damn near 10 minutes just to tell her. in the end, i couldn't even say it, as the previous relationships felt like failures. eventually, i wrote it down on my mobile phone and she said she was completely fine. she said she had been introduced to the world of fetishes by a friend, who took her to london once and, the friend of my girlfriend, was in a food-naked kinda fetish. she said she was completely fine about it and infact, would let me do it there and then. i couldn't do it as i had taken such a major risk. she hugged me and thought i was brave for tellin her. she lets me tickle her regularly now as a result. she even says it turns her on, possibly because she knows it turns me on, or perhaps she even likes it. we don't know which, but i'm sure as hell not gonna question it!!! i feel so lucky i've found a girl who had this reaction and it has made our relationship a bit better, due to the honesty and additional thing we can do in the bedroom 🙂

If you really have a true tickling fetish, youd never be happy with a partner if they werent into it. if you still stay with them even if they arent into it, then your not a true tickle fetishist.
