I read this story this morning and thought it was pretty amusing. Maybe the UK government will consider this idea, now that it's been rejected by the White House? And I didn't even know there was such a thing as a 'quadrillion'......

Actually, there were 35,000 signatures on the petition. That's not exactly the same thing as knowing that 35,000 different people signed it. But, as I remarked to my classes about the secession petitions when Obama was re-elected, "Signing these has more in common with playing Farmville than it does with any serious political movement."

Secession petitions though improbable to happen were more about protest. If any state gets more then 20000 sigs the president must give a formal response to that petition. Its not about anything but knocking over the checker board but heck its a free country. 😛

I dont really want a Death Star either. No place to park it. 😛

Well if a Death Star was going to be $850 quadrillion, I would guess that a lightsaber, the symbol of peace, justice, and Jedi-ness, would cost roughly twice as much!
