For anyone who's made tickle/fetish videos, how did you explain this to the people closest to you, such as your parents? How did they respond? Because a fetish is a sexual interest, you're technically a porn star, considering you have people getting horny from watching you get tickled. Did they give you disappointed lecture about you being that, and list many of the stigmas regarding porn? What made them finally back off and let you continue with this?

The short answer for me is, they don’t know. I haven’t told them. My family are very conservative, so I pretty much assumed they’d disown me if I ever put anything of myself online, ever. Hence why I never showed my face until recently. But strangely, no disasters have happened.

At some point, I did end up telling them I do modelling gigs (without going into details obviously) because they were getting on my nerves about “not being successful enough” in terms of a career. Surprisingly, they’re all fine with it as long as I’m strictly non-nude and not-explicit.

I’m lucky enough that my family don’t use social media and thus probably won’t stumble across it, but if they do ever question the fetish work, I’ll probably just pull the “I’m making money” card. This is usually enough to shut people up in the vanilla world because it’s “cool” to make “easy money”.

I can understand how awkward that can be for you, and it sounds like you've distanced yourself from them to some extent. I've done the same thing with my parents due to how stressful they were to live with. Like yours, my dad would always tell me "Get a real job!" whenever I'd say I want to be self-employed, because in his mind, a "real job" is working at McDonalds.

While its good you can shut people up by showing them how much money you make from fetish work, I imagine your parents would still shame you for it because of their views on it. Its your life to live, so they just have to accept you for choosing to star in fetish work.
