That happens sometimes. It says can't play file or something like that. I try to rename some files in another format ( mpg to wmv and so on............magically few times it worx but i don't know why ???

they have a program called hacha,that splits files into samller ones. i dont know if that would help,ill try and find a link for it. if any1 else knows how to do it,please post here. thanks.

I do have hacha, but I believe a 200mb clip might over do it here on TT. It doesn't just let me say ok, i want a clip only of minutes 2-7 and 21-26, but rather takes the clip and makes it into lots of smaller files that won't run on its own, but when you add up are the same. I need something that I can pick out parts of the clip and make them into one file that plays on its own. I was told Windows Media Encoder does that but I can get it to work right and make the clips hold its quality. Good idea though Heavy, thanks for thinking. =)

yea,200mb might be a little over limit.lol i dont know how to work that windows media encoder. only thing i can think of is ask some other people who have clips on clips4sale.com how they make smaller clips,they should know. thanks. the pics you have up look good so far. you a big f/m fan,i have lots of f.m clips if ur interested in trading some, or whatever. let me know.

it sounds like you need a video editor. If you cant find one for free you can pick up a cheap one for $20 that'll do the job.

Virtual Dub, free and open-source, www.virtualdub.org 🙂 Won't work on WMV or ASF, but handles most other Windows Media formats. No installation needed, just unzip and double-click the .exe to start it.
