This is so retardedly easy, if this doesnt work for you, YOU NEED THERAPY. The only downside is that with this method you can only download them as flash files and can only view them with a Flash Player:

1.) Find the video you want to download on YouTube and bring up the screen where the video is actually playing.

2.) Go to the address below
http://javimoya.com/blog/youtube_en.php

3.) Cut & Paste the URL from the screen where the YouTube video you want to download is loading/playing

4.) Insert it into the field provided by the Video Downloader and select "YouTube" from the drop menu.

5.) Hit "Download"

6.) After a few seconds, another link will appear below. Right click and choose "Save Link As". It doesnt matter what extension you save it as, it will appear as an HTML file no matter what you do.

7.) Go to wherever you downloaded it to on your computer and change the extension from ".html" to ".flv"

8.) Use the Flash Viewer (from the sticky'ed YouTube thread at the top in this section of the forum) and open the file. Enjoy....

Someone is still going to have that problem...we all know it...somebody..is..

Or, just simply copy the .flv file out of the browser cache and rename it before closing the window with the video in it. Then, view it with a flash video player.

Converting.

Hey all,

For the amount of times that someone has asked that a clip be converted and reposted as a different format, you can go and download CinemaForge 2.0 (yes, it's free - well, mine was anyhow) and use that to change the .flv file to the file type of your choice.

Just locate the .flv file for the "Input" tab, then select where you want it to go and what you want it to be called with the "Output" tab, use the "Doc Type" button to change it to whatever you want it to be, and click "Encode" on the left side. It's pretty straight-forward and self explanatory if you take a look.

Hope this helps,

Moondog 😀

that does sound good. but theres only one flaw, where do i get an flv player or a flash player? is there a particular website or do i google it? thanx for the info!

I could download one Clip but when i want to download a other one come allways "get Clip" I can't download any other Clips, just these one.

My Other Filename was "jXpv9XC4sic" and a other one was just "get Clip" Why i can't download more Clips there with the Downloader? Any reasons?

In firefox you CAn save it as an flv without having to go back and change the extension manually. Just put quotes around the file name in the save_as dialogue.
I'm gonna have to get something to convert it to a video file though. I haven't found an flv player that allows you to expand the screen, move within the movie, or anything other than play and pause.

Anyone having problems viewing any clips on youtube. Past three days I get nothing but a loading screen whenever I click a clip. Or clip a click. One time I could just get on the tickle section and watch them easily.
