I just saw the Island of Dr Moreau... terrible movie but she looks really cute in the beginning of it.

You're right on both, Jeff. The original with Bela Lugosi was far better; Brando's lazy acting and Kilmer's off-the-wall-dialogue were simply a disgrace. Ron Pearlman did a fine job, convincing me that he is the next Lon Cheney.

And Fairuza Balk is stunning, a much overlooked beauty.

She wasn't wearing any makeup, she played Marlon Brando's "daughter," the one who dances barefoot and showing her belly at the start of the movie, and tries to rescue the protagonist, and starts to grow fangs at the end of the film...
